I was pleasantly surprised to receive an invite to Barry Alan & Louise Lace’s hair and fashion event. Everyone at Barry Alan Salon are so lovely and make you feel like part of the family, Beth & Barry you are awesome 🙂
This was a great opportunity to meet some lovely people, get pampered by Lydia from Barry Alan Salon and Danielle from Norfolk Hair & Beauty Training Academy and eat some delicious nibbles provided by The Little Party Company.
The lovely Louise Lace was also a big part of the event and was providing us with personal fashion styling advice. Louise is offers an excellent fashion & wardrobe styling service for those of you who are looking for a fashion revamp. As a woman who sometimes struggles to find clothes that look right on my body shape, Louise can take you on a one-off shopping trip or give you a complete wardrobe transformation and make you feel like a brand new woman!

Once we had settled in and enjoyed a glass of Prosecco or Shloer the wonderful Barry Alan kicked off the evening with a little speech!
Just before I got my fancy blow dry by Lydia I dipped into the canapés which by the way, were absolutely gorgeous. I particularly enjoyed the mini goats cheese tarts.
These would be perfect for a party or wedding!

If you’ve never had your hair blow dried before, I highly recommend you visit Barry Alan’s blow dry bar! They offer a range of different blow dries for only £15, perfect for a night out, hen do, wedding party or just to feel like a strong independent woman! Lydia and I chose to give me some curls and a waterfall braid which would cost around £20 (prices can vary if you want something little extra, like my braids!)

If you book in 4 or more people to the blow dry bar Barry Alan Salon throw in a bottle of Prosecco. What more could you ask for? gorgeous hair and free booze, yes please!
Lydia did a great job on my hair and will definitely be coming back for another blow dry!
The Norfolk Hair & Beauty Training Academy were upstairs so I thought it was time to venture up there and get a make over.

Carli & Danielle make up Norfolk Hair & Beauty Training Academy and teach all sorts of courses including day courses, beauty courses and make-up courses!
I had the lovely Danielle do my eye make-up. I’ve always tried to do smokey eyes but I always end up looking like a panda but Danielle executed it and made my eyes look badass.
Most of the products they use are by MAC. The eyeshadows Danielle used on me were:
Copper Plate
Scene
Carbon
Vex
She also used the Feline eye pencil to complete the smokey matte look!
I had a great time at this event and would highly recommend others attending the next one! For £8, you truly have a magical experience and feel truly pampered 🙂
